DMCA Policy
We respect intellectual property rights and respond promptly to valid copyright infringement notices.
VEXA PLAYER is a media player application. We do NOT host, store, transmit, distribute, or stream any video content, channels, IPTV streams, movies, series, or media files. The App is a player only — users connect their own legally-obtained IPTV credentials. We have no access to, control over, or knowledge of what users stream through the App. Any copyright concerns regarding specific streams or channels should be directed to the IPTV provider hosting that content, not to VEXA PLAYER.
Quick Summary
- VEXA PLAYER is a player only — we don't host content
- We comply with the DMCA and respond to valid takedown notices
- Repeat infringers will have their access terminated
- Counter-notices can be filed if a takedown was made in error
- False DMCA claims may result in legal liability
Our Commitment
VEXA PLAYER ('we', 'us', 'our') respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our App and Website to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) of 1998, codified at 17 U.S.C. § 512, and equivalent international copyright laws, we will respond expeditiously to valid claims of copyright infringement involving our services.
Scope of This Policy
What this policy covers:
- The VEXA PLAYER website (vexaplayer.com)
- Marketing content, screenshots, and materials we publish
- Our software application's code, design, and branding
What this policy does NOT cover:
- Third-party IPTV content, channels, or streams users access through the App
- Third-party IPTV providers and their content libraries
- User-supplied playlists, M3U files, Xtream Codes credentials, or Stalker portals
If you have a copyright concern about specific IPTV content or streams, you must contact the IPTV service provider hosting that content directly. VEXA PLAYER does not control, monitor, host, or have knowledge of third-party IPTV content.
Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that content on our website or app infringes your copyright, you may file a DMCA takedown notice by sending a written notification to our Designated Copyright Agent (see Section 7).
Your notice MUST include the following information (per 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (provide URLs, registration numbers, or detailed descriptions)
- Identification of the infringing material and its specific location (provide exact URLs on vexaplayer.com)
- Your contact information (full name, address, telephone number, email address)
- A good-faith statement that you believe the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner
Incomplete notices will not be processed. We recommend consulting an attorney before submitting a DMCA notice.
Our Response to Valid Notices
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will:
- Acknowledge receipt within 48 hours
- Review the notice for completeness and validity (typically within 5-10 business days)
- Remove or disable access to the infringing material if the claim is valid
- Notify the user who posted the material (if applicable) and forward a copy of the notice
- Document the action in our DMCA log
We reserve the right to: request additional information, refuse fraudulent or incomplete notices, and forward the notice to law enforcement if bad faith is suspected.
Counter-Notice (For Content Removed in Error)
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notice. Your counter-notice MUST include:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the removed material and its previous location
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
- Your contact information (full name, address, telephone, email)
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court in your area, or if outside the U.S., the federal district court where VEXA PLAYER is located, and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant and restore the content within 10-14 business days, unless the complainant files a court action.
Repeat Infringer Policy
VEXA PLAYER has a strict policy against repeat infringement. Users found to infringe copyright on two or more occasions will:
- Have their activation key permanently revoked (without refund)
- Be banned from purchasing future activations
- Have their account information retained for legal compliance
- May be reported to relevant authorities in severe cases
We reserve the right to terminate any user's access at any time for suspected copyright infringement, even before formal proceedings.
Designated Copyright Agent
All DMCA notices and counter-notices must be sent to our Designated Copyright Agent:
Alternative email: legal@vexaplayer.com
Subject line must contain: "DMCA Takedown Notice" or "DMCA Counter-Notice"
Response time: Acknowledgment within 48 hours; full review within 5-10 business days.
False Claims & Misuse
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, incurred by the alleged infringer or by VEXA PLAYER.
We take false DMCA claims seriously and may: reject frivolous notices, report bad-faith claimants, and seek damages against parties who abuse the process.
Before filing a notice, please ensure: you own the copyright or are authorized; the use is not fair use or lawful; and your claim is in good faith.
Third-Party IPTV Content
VEXA PLAYER does not host, distribute, or have knowledge of IPTV content that users access through our App. The App is a generic media player, similar to VLC, MX Player, or Kodi. Users supply their own IPTV credentials from third-party providers.
If you are a copyright owner concerned about specific IPTV streams, identify the IPTV service provider hosting the stream, file your DMCA notice directly with that provider, or contact their hosting company/ISP. VEXA PLAYER cannot remove streams we do not host. We will, however, cooperate with valid law enforcement requests and court orders.
Trademark Concerns
This DMCA policy covers copyright issues only. For trademark infringement concerns (e.g., misuse of brand names, logos, or trade dress), email legal@vexaplayer.com with subject "Trademark Concern". Include proof of trademark ownership, description of misuse, and your contact information.
International Copyright
While the DMCA is a U.S. law, we respect copyright laws worldwide. We honor takedown requests that meet substantially similar standards under the EU Copyright Directive, UK CDPA, Berne Convention, and other applicable treaties. Non-U.S. claimants should include the same information adapted to their jurisdiction.
No Waiver
Nothing in this policy constitutes a waiver of any rights we may have under applicable law. Our compliance with valid DMCA notices does not constitute an admission of liability or acknowledgment that the material in question was infringing.
Updates to This Policy
We may update this DMCA Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our App or Website constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
